We don’t purely tick off tasks! We’re present in our clients’ day to day lives and our client-centred approach helps them feel seen, heard, and human.

THE ROLE:

You’ll support elderly clients to live independently in their own homes, with availability to work:

Mondays: 6 - 9pm

Fridays: 5:30 - 9pm

Alternate Saturdays and Sundays - 5:30 - 9pm

You’ll only care for clients that you have been introduced to and whom you’ll then care for on a regular basis, and all our calls are at least one hour long – there are no bish-bash-bosh calls with us!

WHAT YOU BRING:

• Empathy and patience.
• No experience needed, if you are kind, reliable, willing to learn and genuinely caring we can teach .you the rest.
• Full valid UK driving licence and own vehicle.
• Live within 10 miles of Wokingham.
• Right to work in the UK.

WHAT YOU’LL GET:

• £14.05 (days) £16.20 (evenings/weekends) starting pay rates.
• Enhanced bank holiday pay.
• 35p per mile travel pay.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Provide support, companionship and help with activities and appointments.
• Prepare and cook nutritious meals.
• Supermarket shop as well as clean and tidy around the home, keeping clients’ homes just the way they like them to be kept.
• Manage medication.
• Support with personal care including showering, toileting and dressing.
• Provide support to clients living with dementia and other challenging conditions.
